Dr Sokal Is available to provide psychiatric services for children, adolescents, young adults, adults and the senior population. When completing psychiatric evaluations, she addresses the issue of probable diagnoses and whether medication is a good option. She considers both past and present issues that may be contributing to the symptoms as well as any biological factors. In providing medication monitoring, she pays attention to ongoing issues and sorts out whether the issues need to be addressed in therapy as versus by changing the medication dose or type of medication.
