The Stone Foundation is committed to providing quality mental health services to adults, adolescents, children, and families who are navigating life’s challenges. Our team of hand selected professionally trained counselors offer a unique combination of expertise and character in a warm and inviting professional environment that ensures confidentiality, compassion, respect, and an opportunity for growth in a judgment free zone.

The Stone Foundation is seeking therapists who are licensed in Maryland to join our multidisciplinary, culturally competent, inclusive team of clinical consultants. We aim to serve as an incubator for therapists seeking to build and/or expand their own private practice.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure as a LMSW, LCSW-C, LCPC or Psy.D. Licensed to practice in Maryland.

  • Must have the ability to utilize electronic health records effectively and ethically

  • Must have a demonstrated commitment to inclusive, culturally informed clinical care

  • Must have good written and oral communication skills and good organizational skills

  • Must maintain organization, coworker, and client confidentiality and abide by the Data Privacy Act and the Health Information Portability and Accountability Act.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all onboarding tasks and requirements

  • Perform telehealth and/or in-person clinical counseling services to clients

  • Maintain regular, reliable attendance and timely arrival to all scheduled appointments

  • Maintain confidentiality of records related to clients’ treatment.

  • Act as a client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency issues in crisis situations.

  • Evaluate clients’ mental condition based on review of client information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other staff members to perform clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.

  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge.

  • Submit billing and other related paperwork in a timely fashion.

  • Maintain all professional licensure(s) required and provide prompt cooperation with third party credentialing for billing purposes.

  • Maintain up-to-date client and program records.

  • Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports.

  • Prepare and submit written quarterly and annual reports as required.

  • Conduct activities related to compliance with federal and state laws related to mandated reporting, HIPAA, and the Data Privacy Act.

 

Compensation:

  • 1099 - Contractor Position

  • $65 for Intake/$50 for Follow-ups

    • Growing & scaling their own Private Practice

    • Defining their niche

    • Becoming a known contributor of their expertise in the mental health field

    • Learning the infrastructure and systems needed to build a thriving & successful Private Practice

    • Enhancing money mindset and becoming comfortable with money

  • Private Office Space: Sublease a space in our Towson, MD Office for $400 Monthly

  • Coaching: Access to the “Perfected Practice” Clinician Coaching program at a reduced rate

  • CEUs: 3 Free CEUs per year & additional professional development opportunities

  • Case Consultation: Connect with other clinicians in the practice for regular case consultation
