Tia Blue is a seasoned Clinical Social Worker & Social Services Manager. She is also a Professional Trainer, Facilitator, Mentor & Adjunct Professor at Morgan State University. Ms. Blue started her Professional Career as a graduate of Morgan State's BSW Program in 1998 and went on to earn her MSW from The University of Maryland, School of Social Work in Baltimore City in 2002.
Tia Blue became a Certified Social Worker an added the coveted letters of LCSW-C to her name. Ms. Blue has held several positions in the field of Social Work including Licensed Therapist, Mental Health Specialist, Supervisor & Manager. The most important position that she holds is that of Mother & Auntie.
Tia Blue has a 23 yr old daughter that she raised independently while completing college & beginning her career. Her daughter & 3 nieces motivate her daily to continue moving forward in personal development & growth.
Tia Blue is the former Program Manager for Child Protective Services at Baltmore City Department of Social Services. While serving in this position, she lead her staff on a journey to meet all program goals and successfully implemented Alternative Response, a new statewide initiative for families involved in the Child Welfare System.
Tia Blue endeavors to continue to train, teach, encourage & empower individuals to live their best life both personally & professionally.
